Antigua and Barbuda to benefit from human rights sensitisation

Antigua and Barbuda will be the next country to benefit from the human rights sensitisation begun by United and Strong in Saint Lucia in 2014. The sensitisation has continued under the LGBT Aware banner, with the invaluable support of trainers Maurice Tomlinson and Tom Decker,

From November 24-27 officers of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda will be part of the latest cohort of officers to undergo the LGBTI sensitization sessions. The sessions have been organised with support from the police force, the NGO Meeting Emotional and Social Needs Holistically (MESH), the British High Commission in Bridgetown, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network, CariFLAGS and private donors.

In October the Royal Grenada Police Force and GrenCHAP,supported the sensitisation exercise in Grenada
